In the heart of up and coming Anjos theres a clandestine canteen that's creating magic. Tasca Pete is the brainchild of Peter Templeton. Along with chef Jake Goosen, the idea is to reinvent the cuisine in this time capsule from the 50's but maintain the ambience as is. Sophisticated tavern dishes such as fried chicken with a jalapeño honey drizzle or pork cachaço with a miso pesto are constantly popping out of the kitchen. Pair this with natural wines, and this hipster heaven is a must-go for any Lisbon foodie.
