Bica do Sapato
Bica do Sapato, one of Lisbon's most iconic restaurants at the start of the 2000s, has reopened in all its glory! This spot now focuses on delivering a true gastronomic and gathering experience with different areas for dining, dancing, and even take-away. Designed by Chef Milton Anes, the menu features Portuguese dishes with a flair. The space has been completely renovated, with pieces by renowned national artists such as Manuel Aires Mateus and Daciano da Costa. Bica do Sapato wants to be a gastronomic reference, but also a place where people can dance and get ready for a night out at the nearby Lux. The plan is to have live DJ sets throughout the night.
Insider tip: The new owners, Celso Assunção and Francisco Lacerda, kept the old restaurant's iconic fireplace.
